Sid Lee Collective Boot Camp in collaboration with Fatboy®, Autodesk, and Frame magazine
An adventure for the best—and gutsiest—creative talent!
Montreal, March 1, 2011 – The Sid Lee Collective started recruiting today for its innovative Commercial Creativity Boot
Camp on the theme Imagine the Future of the Fatboy® Brand, in collaboration with Fatboy®, Autodesk, and Frame magazine.
Are you courageous? ... courageous enough to camp indoors for ten days with your fellow recruits?
Are you disciplined? ... or even better, multi-disciplined?
And above all else, are you armed? … armed with a deadly portfolio?
If you answered yes,, then you are invited to go to FACEBOOK.COM/MEETSIDLEE today to apply to be one of eight top
creatives who will team up for an intensive 240 hour blitz to imagine the future of the Fatboy® brand for the next decade.
Have you got what it takes to apply?
Sid Lee is looking for the most creative people on the planet, age 18 to 35, in the following fields: architecture, art
direction, copywriting, industrial design, environmental design, creative technology, and graphic design (two people).
The ideal candidate should feel comfortable out of his or her element and be ready and able to perform in an intensely
creative environment. Living 24/7 with seven other people for 10 days is not for the faint of heart! Candidates for this crazy
campout should also be independent and entrepreneurial, with the capacity to envision the full scope of the project from
start to finish!
What, When, and Where is the Sid Lee Collective Boot Camp?
The Sid Lee Collective Boot Camp will be held in Montreal for ten days from May 31 to June 9, 2011. A section of our office
will be transformed into an indoor camp where the participants will live during their experience. This will be no five-star
hotel. Tents only!
Successful applicants will be flown at our expense* to Sid Lee's headquarters, where they will test themselves against the
best creative talents in the world. They will spend ten days living and breathing Commercial Creativity as they dream up
Fatboy® brand experiences that go way beyond product design. They will get coaching by the best of the best on the Sid
Lee team, rub shoulders with industry experts, and be featured in Frame magazine.
Hélène Godin, creative director and partner at Sid Lee says " Like Sid Lee and Montreal, the Boot Camp will be a unique
experience,: intense, creative, effervescent, and multicultural, with a delicious French flavour!"
*Transportation to Montreal (up to CAN1,200$ ), food, accommodations, activities, and survival kit included!
